My mariner middle school memories I remember a lot that will be in my mind forever. But for right now I will gave you the good memories I totally remember. Being here I have a lot of great and good memories. So writing this hopefully will show you guys how much I liked and loved being here and happy I came here.

Well one of my great memories I had been on May 20^th when our school went to the Shorebirds game me and my fellow classmates. We had a pretty good time we took pictures together hung out together and watched the game. I enjoyed my time there I talked to people that I haven’t even talked too before we hung out. My time at the shorebirds game was a fun and Exciting time and hopefully everyone else did too.

One of my other great memories I had was my first day of school when I came here I met a lot of good friends and now they are my friends. The first couple of days of school many people talked to me and showed me around. Now I know my way around here they great people including the Staff and the Students they are Cool and Chill people.

My Last memory that I will share with you was when we went to the social when we all walked to the park together. While walking to the park I was so happy but also hot that day. Because it was really hot out the sun was really beaming down on us. When I got to the park I hung out with people I never thought I would hang with. Everyone was so excited because that was the day before Spring break. And I still remember all the details like it was yesterday.  

Wow I have so many memories I would like to share but I don’t want to make this to long. One other great memory was the day at Semi Formal I was looking very nice and so was everyone else.

When I think of the word Accomplishment I think of accomplishing something that you know you want to try your best on or even pass. This year I set my goal to accomplish coming to a new school and meeting new people. But that wasn’t the only thing I focused on. I also focused on trying my best and getting out of 8th grade to see what 9th grade has in stored for me.
This year I want to accomplish getting better in math and I pretty much think I did. The reason for that is this year they gave me a Fantastic teacher. Who took out the time to help me and to make sure I was on the right track and knew what she was teaching us about She made me accomplish so many things I never thought I could be I did. And I’m so grateful for her and I’m glad she was the one they give me for this school year. Now I understand math a little bit more because of her help and her guidance I’m proud of myself and I think she is also proud of me too.
My other accomplishing goals I wanted to do this year was too also a least learn a little bit more about American history and a lot about different other things. What I accomplished in this class they also gave me another amazing teacher. She taught me a hand-full of stuff that I can go home right this day and talk about it. Just by being in her Contempary Issues class made me learn about Why we were in World was 1 and also about Economics. I have been going home telling my Mom about all the great things I learned and she was so Pleased. I appreciate this school, Staff, And District
My last accomplishment that I have planned not to do the something’s I have done last year and to focus on school the main thing that it is important. When I was at my old school I let so many things lead me off the track that I was supposed to be on. Truly I didn’t care about anything when I went to school only about my Friends, Clothes, And the popularities. When I got here to Marnier it seems like who I was trying to be at my old school went out the window. I begin to try my best but I had a couple of slip ups that kind of led me back to the old me. By being here it taught me school is not a playground in some points you can have a good time but some points you need to be serious about your learning. That’s what I learned here and I’m so grateful that I did.
There were so many things I wanted to Accomplish this year and I think I have and im Happy about it. Doing your best and working hard is important just by having the kind of staff here at this school taught me that. Right until this day I am still learning a lot even though its close to the end of the year. Im still going to continue to learn more before the school year is over and take what I learned here over to the High School. So thank you Mariner middle School and Staff for teaching me so many thins this year.

My theme this year was tennis and now that it is the end of the year I would like  to close off on the theme by saying. Tennis was the theme that I had picked and I was very grateful that I picked tennis because that’s a sport I love and also play. By ending this theme what I accomplished this year in tennis was a few works ago I begin training back up for tennis in the Summer I will play. I got a chance to look back at many different things that I didn’t know back then about tennis but now I do. Training is starting to go very good I’m working really hard to try and accomplish my goal to be undefeated in tennis. Over the last couple of works I learned and did many things that I wanted to do last year but I didn’t that I’m doing now. That sport always was a sport that I and my family loved so dearly because a couple of people in my family play anyway. So I’m very glad that I could share this with you guys about my theme. And hopefully I do what I came to do to be undefeated.

Sweet Little Lies: LA Candy novel

The book I read about what called Sweet Little Lies and the book was basically about the life of a girl who lived in Los Angeles, California. She wanted to be on TV and one day her dream came true. The main characters are Jane Roberts, her best friend Scarlett Harp, Madison Parker.

So the two girls Jane and Scarlett always wanted to be in the spotlight and start there fashions lines. So they started a show called LA Candy while on the show they were allowed to attend big parties in Hollywood and get in for free. Before Scarlett and Jane even started the show they were very close they moved into an Apartment together and were doing what they wanted to do.

By being on the show caused her and Scarlett to get a whole bunch of attention from the paparazzi also they called her America’s Sweetheart because they didn’t hear bad things about her in the Media. Jane she was dating a boy named Jesse she has been dating him way before she moved to LA.

But one day things changed for Jane she had done something that changed so many things in different people lives. Someone took pictures of Jane and Jane’s Boyfriend Best friend together and posted them on the internet. And the pictures got around to everyone and everybody people were writing bad things about her in the magazines. From the moment on things changed in her life she was so embarrassed because everybody looked up to her as a good role model to many others.

She had to find away to escape LA and get away from the paparazzi because she didn’t feel that she wanted to be in the public eye right now. So I girl named Madison came in and took her away to get away from all of her problems they went to Cabo Saint Lucas Mexico to Madison family beach house. While there Jane though she could get away from all of her problems and just relax. One day she was just sitting outside enjoying the lovely beach day and she looked around the bushes and there she saw the paparazzi. She had to pick up her things and hurry into the beach house then she thought that whatever she does she can’t get away from the paparazzi. 

So returning home she had a lot of explaining to do to her boss, her Boyfriend, and many other people. She didn’t know how to face anybody after that all took place. She have not talked to her Boyfriend and her best friend Scarlett. Jane didn’t know how she was going to explain to everyone about what had happen. Many of days gone by and Jane was going to a club opening she ran into her boyfriend there with either girl. She didn’t know what to do go up to him or just cry. Also they didn’t know Jesse Jane’s boyfriend’s friend was going to be there and caused a whole big thing because the two boys got into a fight together inside the club.

Scarlett begin thinking and came up with that she knows how posted the photos and gave them to the magazine. She begin thinking and she begin saying the Madison Jane’s New best friend posted the photos. And she told Jane but Jane didn’t believe her and Jane told Madison and Madison said No it was Scarlett who posted the photos.

So she was in a place where she didn’t know who to believe her new best friend or her old best friend.  Also left confused about her relationship with Jesse or do she want to start a new one with Braden. There were many things Jane had to decide for herself give up friendships or give up her boyfriend.

What I like about the book was because it was based on real life because of the problems she with through were the same problems she was faced with in the book and out.  

What happens in the book at the End?

I would recommend anybody to finds this book because I loved the book and it was really good.

We, unaccustomed to courage

(I think this poem was just basically about Love and when Love comes it will set you Free.)

I’ve got the children to tend
The clothes to mend
The floor to mop
The food to shop
Then the chicken to fry
The baby to dry
I got company to feed
The garden to weed
I’ve got shirts to press
The tots to dress
The can to be cut
I gotta clean up this hut
Then see about the sick
And the cotton to pick.

(My reflection on this poem was she was talking about how much stuff you have to do when you are a mother or just a woman and talking about how much things wont be easy. And if you are not a parent i think she was trying to tell you what you would expect. Thats what i  think the poem was really about)

They are so important to me truly I Love doing a lot of fun things with my friends because i always know some day we all my never be together again. Because I want to go to College in California only two of my other friends want to go with me. The others they want to go to places like Florida, Alabama, or Texas. That’s why we try to do things now together. Most of us we play tennis together in the Summer time for Seaford. But the others they go for Softball but after our games we all try to hang together and maybe go for Ice Cream.. Lol In everyday life you don’t always find good friends that you can share things with and anything i need to talk to people about and I can’t because I’m either Shy or Scared i tell my friends. Because they try to understand even though sometimes they don’t. And I know that they won’t go off and tell other people when we get into arguments together and we don’t talk to each other probably for 5 mins and 5 mins isn’t really a long time. Because we can’t stand the face to be mad at each other cause we are all important to each other we may do things the others don’t like but we try to work through it to try and make things right. We don’t want to lose each other and best of all i don’t want to lose them. Even though I go to Mariner and they go to Seaford I always try my best to talk to them each day if it is on MySpace, Yahoo, of Text message we always talk.

Today is March 19, 2010 as you all know, After school today i am going to My old School for a Stuudent Vs. Staff basketball game. Im so excited cant wait to see all my Best friends cause they main alot to me and we finally get to be together again. The main reason i am going is to see my Brothers cause they are on the Team my other reason for going is to see my Best friends. Then after the game they are coming to my house and we are going to hang out together and watch movies. In my house you can do alot of things it is 11 bedrooms and we have an arcade room with alot of games like Pac man and a Pool table. We also have 2 computer rooms one upstairs the other down. On Saturday is going to be the most fun we are going to my Mom’ s Condo she has in Ocean City and hang and spend time there on Saturday do alot of things together.

The book “Things Not Seen” Was a book I thought that I wouldn’t found intersting but i begin to read more of the book and I got very interesting to me and I read it to the end and I Loved it. The book “Things not seen” Was about a boy Named Bobby One day he got up to get ready for school and he stumbled into the bathroom to take a shower and to get Cleaned up for school. And He stepped out of the Shower and walked up to the mirror and wiped it off and he didn’t see anything. So he got a little scared and wiped the mirror off again and he realized that he was invisible and he couldn’t see himself. So he begins to think that it wasn’t real. And He tries to convince his parents that he is still exist and not gone. Finally his parents they find out that he is still there and they keep him home because of his condition a secret so that no one would know.  This parents they got hospitalized because they got into an Accident. Then bobby he got put on an State Department because of his disappearance. But his parents they didn’t go to the police about it. So that may just land his parents in Jail. So that was my book and I’m not going to tell you anymore you would just have to read it yourself and find out.

Why does it have to snow so much?

Well in my whole life I never really had seen a blizzard like this before. I thought that I was going to be so happy that we stayed out of school so much. Which I was kind of happy. But the blizzard was so crazy no one was allowed to leave there homes.  So I’m going to tell you all the crazy things and exciting thing that happen in my home the weekend of 5-7

The day of February the 5^th started the craziest time of all. It start like this the blizzard that we had for the while weekend. So I was coming home from school on the 5^th of February and It was snowing outside and I was so excited didn’t know what to do. When I got home waiting at the bus stop was my cousin come to find out she was staying for the weekend and so was my other cousins. My mom left to go and get them and by time my mom got back home the snow was piling up so much that it took her forever to get back home. They got to my house we were so excited didn’t know what to do so we stayed up watched movies together and hung out and I kind of liked it a lot because I haven’t seen them in forever. The time it came around to 3 o clock is we were still up having fun and all of a sudden the lights and everything turned off and we just thought that the fuel blew but it didn’t. Come to find out all the power around us went out. So knowing that we all got bored and we talked our self’s to sleep.

The Day of February 6^th we all wake up cooled and shivering. But not me I had the biggest cover out of everybody and they were so jealous of me. We were all just sitting there looking out of the window nothing to do. So I wanted to go and text so of my friends and come to find out that I didn’t charge my phone that night so it was died and I was so upset didn’t know what to do I can’t do anything without my phone. I was walking around the house like a sad little puppy and my brothers and cousins were making fun of me because they all had their phones I didn’t. Hours went by and we were all still cold we sent my step brother out to go and get the generator and he broke the pull start. Everyone in the house was so mad at him so we all came up with something everything he touch he breaks..lol Hours and hours went by again nothing to do. So my mother called her parents and we were going to Seaford and stay with them. We all got our things packed to get ready to go and my mother got the truck stuck so we had to stay there longer and longer. And we were all even madder than we was before. My mother and everybody turned their best to get the truck out but I wouldn’t come out. Around about 6 pm. My brother and my cousin really thought of an idea to go and ask the neighbors for help and to use their bobcat to pull the truck out. If you were there you would have seen smiles on everyone’s face soon we went to Seaford.

The day February 7^th we made it to Seaford the night before. That morning we had breakfast hot chocolate and everything.
